During this series Adair collaborates with his wife, artist Sarah Adair, playing with ideas of scale, distance and movement. Working with found imagery and text collected from various sources the artists explore the use of appropriation and the feelings of displacement it creates. The use of contemporary colour and fluid shapes provide each protagonist a landscape of which to travel through, this combined with ambiguous text and historic imagery curiously juxtapose leaving the character out of place and away from home.
